More Troubles For TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar!! Booked For Molestation

On Wednesday, TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar was booked for molestation. The complaint was lodged of a victim in Mumbai.

As we already know, Kumar was charged with allegations of molestation by an ex-colleague or employee of TVF.
She mentioned her account of the experience of working with Kumar and how he molested her, she wrote a Facebook post which she posted anonymously.
After reading that many women came forward and shared similar experiences. The company denied all charges and dismissed it as “categorically false, baseless and unverified”.
No victim came forward to lodge a complaint against Kumar. That’s when criminal lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee filed a complaint against Kumar on March 16th. He found out that police was not investigating the matter properly. He also learned that no victim appeared in person to give their statement against Kumar.

Siddiquee even wrote a Facebook post just 3 days ago. he appealed in the post to those victims and encouraged them to come forward and file a complaint. He assured that he will provide all legal assistance and keep their identity a secret.
In an official statement, TVF clearly denied all allegations, it said,
“All the allegations made against TVF and its team in the article are categorically false, baseless and unverified. We take a lot of pride in our team and in making TVF a safe workplace that is equally comfortable for women and men. We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations,”
Nidhi Bisht, the writer – director with TVF also mentioned in her Facebook post,
“Let me clarify, that TVF has zero tolerance towards workplace harassment and an investigation will be conducted and appropriate actions will be taken. We have a Prevention of Sexual Harassment committee, backed by Legal and HR which deals with such issues…I would request women to come forward, without fear and lodge a formal complaint. Be rest assured, that due actions will be taken and we’ll get to the bottom of the issue,”
She also added, “TVF is one of the best places for women to work”.
Well, we will keep our readers updated with all the news about this case. Workplace harassment is something we can never encourage or appreciate, it certainly has to be reported.
