Election Commission Slammed AAP & Said They Hacked A “Look Alike” Gadget & Not Real EVM

Arvind Kejriwal and his party’s obsession with EVMs has not ended till now and once again, AAP supremo challenged the Election Commission on the matter of EVM tampering. In fact, an AAP MLA named Saurabh Bhardwaj demonstrated the whole process of hacking EVMs live in the day-long special session of Delhi Assembly. The MLA has also made a claim that whoever knows the secret code can tamper with EVMs and this can also be done while casting votes.
On the other hand, the EC didn’t give any importance to this claim of AAP and said that what AAP MLA used was a “look alike” gadget and not a real machine used by the EC. This is what the Election Commission stated,
“It is common sense that gadgets other than ECI-EVMs can be programmed to perform in a pre-determined way, but it simply cannot be implied that ECI-EVMs will behave in the same manner because they are technically secured and function under an elaborate administrative and security protocol.”
The EC further adds that intelligent citizens and electorate of India can’t be misguided by “so-called” live demonstrations on “extraneous and duplicate gadgets” which do not belong to the EC.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal challenged the Election Commission to provide an EVM and they would tamper it in just 90 seconds. He was interacting with media outside the assembly when he said,

“He (Bhardwaj) showed how easy it is to hack EVMs and it is being done on a massive scale. It is dangerous for the democracy and the country, and people should raise their voice against it. The ECI can give us its machines; we will show how to hack it in 90 seconds by merely changing its motherboard.”
However, Kejriwal was not willing to reply the questions related to bribery allegations made by Kapil Mishra against him.
Well, it seems that the EVM episode is not going to end soon but public is waiting more for Kejriwal’s response on Kapil Mishra episode. What do you say? Share your views in the comments section below.
